It's clear that everyone has their opinion, and I doubt very few will change their minds based on message boards rants. I own several weapons and I support universal background checks. The only problem with that solution is that the community work also comes with an associated fine/fee. So you get X number of days of community service (which by the way is technically still "incarceration") AND you have to pay some predetermined fee per day you serve.

In CA men can take a paid leave (albiet less pay) to spend time with the baby. I've done it for my last 2 and it's a great option.
2 edged sword. Employee takes job, goes on leave for full bene's/time w/ no intention of returning when time is up. Employer holding bag.
